GAMES Anderlecht won 3-1 against Charleroi yesterday without a lot of problems. Because of this win, Purple & White is approaching to five points from leader Club Brugge. Anderlecht will travel to Bruges next week. Would there still be anything possible?

Anderlecht started without Obradovic and with Najar and Deschacht. Onyekuru was not on the bench, just like Chipciu. The game had a fascinating start with a good home team. As the first half progressed, things went slower. Gerkens scored 1-0 after a nice assist from Morioka.

Morioka doubled the score a bit before the hour. Dendoncker extended a corner and the Japanese was well followed to score it. Twenty minutes before time Rezaei scored the 2-1 after finishing a counter attack, but a few minutes later, Dendoncker secured the win. Final score 3-1.
