Markovic will probably return to Liverpool in June

TRANSFERS One of the most important players of the last few weeks, Lazar Markovic, will probably no longer walk around in Brussels next season. It looks like Sporting will not proceed to a final transfer.


Markovic came on loan in the winter, but needed several months to get ready to play. Currently, the Serbian still does not get to play a full match. For example, he was not available against Standard.

The Anderlecht Board therefore considers the player to be too fragile. A transfer would then be too risky. Most likely, Markovic will return to his mother club Liverpool in June.
