Ferrera might leave as U21 coach after this season

YOUTH Chances are that Michel Preud'homme will start working as a coach again this summer. In that case he probably takes Emilio Ferrera as an assistant. Ferrera is now coach of the U21 of Anderlecht, but it's not really a good marriage.


Ferrera has to make sure that the greatest talents get more easily into the first team at Anderlecht. Within the players group, he has a lot of praise and Hein Vanhaezebrouck appreciates his work, but not everyone is so charmed. The reforms he wanted to implement within the youth work also caused a lot of discussion within the club. Ferrera itself is annoyed by the state of the accommodation where the teams have to train under the U16.

Soon Ferrera will have a conversation with Marc Coucke and Luc Devroe. If Preud'homme will become coach again and offers Ferrera to come along, he might be interested in this.
