INTERVIEWS Lukasz Teodorczyk has found his way back to the goal and that also satisfies his manager Marcin Kubacki. Especially regarding the World Cup. "But I can not imagine that Lukasz would not go to the World Cup", he says.

In Poland people read in the Belgian media that 'Teodorczyk has been resurrected'. That is what Kubacki finds exaggerated. "I would not say that Lukasz was a corpse, the whole team was in trouble, there were a lot of changes and a new coach came. Now it's getting better, Anderlecht is not playing sensationally, but Teodorczyk is very efficient and that is the key to Anderlecht's last victories ", says Kubacki.

Due to his poor performance in 2017, Teodorczyk was not selected for the national team for the friendly games in November. His World Cup seemed to be in danger, but Kubacki does not doubt. "Given the experience he has and how hard he works every game for the team, I can not imagine that he would not go to the World Cup", said the manager. "Even though he does not score, he gives back a lot to his team, but he has to keep working hard and take things too easy, nobody gets a World Cup selection as a gift."

"Soon talk with Coucke"

During the winter break Anderlecht tried to sell Teodorczyk. After the closing of the transfer market, the Chinese Jiangsu Suning came up, but then purple-white did not want to let him go. Now Kubacki says that AS Roma was also interested. "If Dzeko had gone to Chelsea, they would have taken Teodorzcyk to replace him."

"Teodorczyk is very appreciated and the proposals from other clubs are proof of this", continues Kubacki. "Within a few months the transfer market will open again and soon I will have a meeting with the new owner of Anderlecht (Marc Coucke, red.) about the future of Teodorczyk."
