OTHER In a brief official message, Anderlecht said that Oliver Deschacht had been sent to the Reserves for an indefinite period of time. The club does not want to comment further. Certain media reports mean that a "too negative attitude within the dressing room" is the reason.

Shortly after the message about the banishment of Deschacht, Voetbalkrant wrote that Hein Vanhaezebrouck pointed to his experienced players to turn the crisis atmosphere around. "Deschacht, as the most experienced player, would not have had a positive effect on the atmosphere, on the contrary, and that went wrong with Vanhaezebrouck", writes the website.

Het Laatste Nieuws talks about a negative attitude at Deschacht because he is "not the most pleasant man in the dressing room because he is frustrated by the current state of affairs". Vanhaezebrouck would have appealed to Deschacht, but apparently a sin result. "Vanhaezebrouck now wants positivism in the first place to break the negative spiral and therefore judged that it was better to temporarily refer Deschacht to the Reserves", writes the newspaper.
