No one won more points than Hanni

OTHER Sofiane Hanni is often criticized by Anderlecht fans, but with his statistics, this season he ranks amongst the top four in the Belgian league. In fact, no player won more points for his club with his goals and assists.


Hanni scored his fifth goal of the season against Genk on Sunday. His number of assists stands at six. He had a foot in 11 of the 32 goals of Anderlecht this season. Only three players have more goals and assists this season on their name: Ruud Vormer 23 (8 + 15), Kaveh Rezaei 15 (10 + 5) and Teddy Chevalier 13 (10 + 3).

The numbers of Vormer may be a lot more impressive, he is not as decisive as Hanni. With his five goals and six assists, Hanni has already won 15 points for Anderlecht this season. Henry Onyekuru is also more decisive than Vormer. With his nine goals, he captured 13 points for Anderlecht. Vormer won 'only' 12 points with his goals and assists. But that is of course because Club Brugge scores much more often and the danger comes from many more players.
