INJURIES Anderlecht finished their first full training day in La Manga yesterday. There was good and bad news to pick up. First the good: newcomer Kenny Saief immediately made a strong impression. The bad news is that some players had to quit the training injured.

Anderlecht started the day at 8 o'clock with a running session on the beach. At 10.45 AM a first field training followed. Hein Vanhaezebrouck let his group work hard for two hours. There were many forms of competition involved. Ivan Obradovic had to stop the training prematurely with an injury, but it does not seem serious.

At 4 PM another training was scheduled and Obradovic let this pass by. He trained in the gym, just like Uros Spajic. Francis Amuzu and Lukasz Teodorczyk had to go to the side with an injury. Teodorczyk had slight problems with the hip.
