No World Cup for Hanni

OTHER Algeria has lost his World Cup qualification game against Zambia with 3-1. Because of this loss, Algeria stays last in the group with one point out of three games. Nigeria is leading with nine out of nine points and only the winner of the group can go to the World Cup. There are three more games to play. Hanni played the entire game.


In group E, Ghana played a tie against Congo-Brazzaville (1-1), Frank Acheampong wasn't selected. Ghana has now two points and has to pass Uganda (7 points) and Egypt (6 points).
