Van Biesbroeck becomes financial and commercial director

The tasks of manager Van Holsbeeck will be split in two. From September on, Jo Van Biesbroeck will reinforce the management team. Van Holsbeeck will remain responsible for the sportive management of the club.


Van Biesbroeck on the other hand will take over all tasks related to the financial and commercial functioning of the club. Van Biesbroeck is a friend and former colleague for Alexandre Van Damme, who owns a part of Anderlecht's stocks and is one of the richest people in Belgium. They know each other from their work for AB InBev where Van Biesbrouck was responsible for the strategical success of the brewery group.

A lot has to do with the upcoming move to the new stadium. This will create a lot of extra work and Van Holsbeeck's agenda was already full.
