"I've made those final and crucial steps at Dortmund"

OTHER Orel Mangala made his Bundesliga debut for Vfb Stuttgart last weekend. He played 90 minutes in the game against Hertha Berlin. "It was a dream coming true", says the former Anderlecht youth player.


Two years ago, Mangala was one of the star players in the UEFA Youth League. Last season, he played for Borussia Dortmund's U19. The coach he had there, is now coach at Stuttgart and insisted on him coming to Stuttgart.

Did Anderlecht made a mistake by letting him go to Dortmund? "No. Now that I think about it, I wasn't ready. At Dortmund, I've made those final steps."
