INTERVIEWS Since Monday, Frank Boeckx is back on the training field with his team mates. End May he had a back surgery. Doctors predicted an absence of three months, but after eleven weeks, 'Frank the Tank' is back. "I have to thank the medical staff."


The last games of the past season, Boeckx played with infiltrations in his back and with painkillers. "At the end, I couldn't stand the pain any more. After a game, I needed three days to recover. Between January and May, my hernia has tripled. It was time to do something. They told me I would need three months to rehabilitate, but after 11 weeks, I'm back. I need to thank the medical staff for that."
