Vancamp: "I'm very thankful for the chances I got"

INTERVIEWS This season, Jorn Vancamp is on loan at Roda JC. There, he wants to prove to René Weiler that he is ready for the big step at Anderlecht. The young attacker doesn't feel any grudge against René Weiler. "I'm very thankful for the chances that he already gave me."


He has a lot of compliments for Anderlecht and the coach. "Weiler gave me a few chances. I was allowed to join on the training camp, I was in the selection for the qualifying rounds for the Champions League and I made my European debut against Saint-Étienne. Besides, I signed contract prolongation in February for two more years. That's a sign that the club believes in me."

"The coach has given me the advice to gain some experience at an other club. I also had some options in Belgium, but I wanted a new culture. Roda JC gave me the best feeling."
