With Alexander Milosevic not joining Anderlecht, the club is looking for alternatives. Diego Reyes, Alexander Scholz, Mbark Boussoufa, Imoh Ezekiel and Idrissa Sylla are on the shortlist. But what is the current status?

Diego Reyes is currently not playing for FC Porto which increases the chances that he can leave. Anderlecht will have to compete with Parma for the player though. The Mexican player is not cheap either. The Mauves will have to spend one million euro on him per six months.

Also Alexander Scholz is still a candidate. The Danish defender of Lokeren indicated to his manager that he wants to join Anderlecht. But Lokeren's chairman Lambrechts is determined to get the maximum out of his player. Both sides are still negotiating, but it seems unlikely they'll come to an agreement soon.

Also Mbark Boussoufa is rather expensive. The Moroccan player costs 4 million euro and wants to earn 1,5 million per year. Those are high demands for Anderlecht, but the club has not given up on him yet.

A new name on the list is that one of Imoh Ezekiel. The former Standard player is currently active for Al-Arabi in Qatar, where he wants to leave. Seen he has already played for two different clubs this season, it seems unlikely he can join the Belgian champions. Playing for more than two different clubs in one season is against FIFA regulations, unless an exception can be obtained.

Zulte Waregem striker Idrissa Sylla is also charming Anderlecht. But he is not seen as an immediate reinforcement.
