Official: Onyekuru to Anderlecht !

TRANSFERS Henry Onyekuru will join Anderlecht for one season. The Nigerian striker ended last season as second best scorer in the Jupiler Pro League, behind Teodorzcyk. Meanwhile he has left his club Eupen and signed a five year deal for Everton. The English club will loan him for one year to Anderlecht.

Coach Weiler is pleased with his new striker: "Onyekuru knows the league well and he has fantastic statistics. I'm therefore very pleased with this transfer." And also manager Van Holsbeeck is happy with this deal: "The fans will certainly love him and his style of play."

His new club Everton also stresses the importance of loaning him to Anderlecht for a year: "Especially his experiences in the Champions League will be important."
