TRANSFERS Andy Kawaya will leave Anderlecht for KV Mechelen. Despite still having a contract for one year, Anderlecht let him go for free. From the moment KV Mechelen would sell the player, half of the transfer fee goes to Anderlecht.

Kawaya made his debute in 2014 on the field of Arsenal in the Champions League. His good performance there allowed him more playing minutes in that same season. But the year afterwards, he was loaned to Willem II where he didn't play much. Last season, he rehabilitated for an entire season after fracturing his leg.

Similar story for Hervé Matthys: the youngster was loaned to Westerlo last season, but couldn't convince trainer and staff. Meanwhile, his contract in Anderlecht ended so also he leaves for free, to FC Eindhoven in the Dutch second division.
