Reserves soon in 1B?

YOUTH The Pro League wants to increase the level of our youth and one of the propositions they made is to let the Reserves play in 1B. The level of the current reserves competition is quite poor and is not preparing our youth for the first division.


"We can reward the teams with the best youth training centre by making them play in 1B." says Pierre François, CEO of the Pro League, "We could add four or six teams to the eight teams already in the league."

The Pro League also wants to increase the training compensation from 10.000 euros to 90.000 euros. And it wants to make it possible to give players a pro contract at the age of 15 instead of 16.
