This week news about Defour, Van Buyten and Diarra?

This week, the fans expect reinforcements. Therefore, we give you a new update about the latest rumours. We shed our light on Steven Defour, Daniel Van Buyten and Alou Diarra.


Steven Defour is currently negotiating with PSV Eindhoven, but also Anderlecht is still in the running to land the Belgian international from FC Porto. PSV's offer was not high enough for Proto, but the rumours goes the Dutch team increased their offer for Defour to six million. Defour also has a personal agreement with PSV. Though Defour's manager was present yesterday in the Vanden Stock Stadium. Manager Luciano D'Onofrio has an excellent understanding with Defour, Porto and Anderlecht, so there is still hope. Anderlecht's transfer budget might not be high enough to reach an agreement with Porto though.

Daniel Van Buyten's contract ended with Bayern Munich. The player is still uncertain about is future. He could retire, or sign a deal in Anderlecht and continue his career for one or two more years. Anderlecht expects an answer this week.

Alou Diarra is also in contact with Anderlecht. The player is training with Bordeaux but did not sign a contract for the French club. Diarra played for West Ham and Stade de Reims, but is currently looking for a new team. He has also been selected several times for the French national team.
