Najar: "Very happy with contract renewal"

INTERVIEWS Andy Najar has left on a holiday to the United States, together with his family. He is still suffering from an injury, which means that he can't play with the Honduran national team. But last Friday, he took the time to visit his national team mates during their training.


To show his gratitude towards Anderlecht, he has just prolonged his contract. He and his family are very thankful and are enjoying the stability that the club is offering them.

Because of injuries on bad moments, Najar hasn't been able to take the next step in his career. "These are things that happen in the life of a football player. But I'm very thankful, because Anderlecht has opened the gates to Europe for me."

Najar now wants to focus on the next season with Anderlecht, that's why he won't be playing in the next games with the national teams. "I have to think about myself right now. I need my rest and I have never had the opportunity to go on a training camp with Anderlecht due to international obligations."
