Official: Tielemans has signed for AS Monaco

TRANSFERS Anderlecht has confirmed what everyone already knew: Tielemans will leave Anderlecht for AS Monaco. Tielemans signed a contract for five years and will play with number 17. 

Tielemans becomes the most expensive transfer in Belgian history. The transfer fee is estimated around 23 million, but may increase further due to clauses and bonus systems that are probably embedded in the transfer agreement. With 23 million, he's one million more expensive than Fellaini when he was transferred from Standard to Everton. Though the total value of Tielemans' transfer may increase up to 25 or 30 million. More clarity about that is expected next week.

Tielemans followed the advise of fellow Red Devil Carrasco: "He told me young players will have a chance here", Tielemans said. Afterward he introduced himself to the fans as a real "box-to-box" player. 

Tielemans is a real product of Anderlecht's youth academy. He joined the club at the age of five and made his debute when he was sixteen years old, in 2013 against Lokeren. Meanwhile, he played 185 games for Anderlecht in which he scored 35 goals.
