Capel: "It is time to go back to Spain"

INTERVIEWS Diego Capel is very pleased that he has now a Belgian title on his list of honour. He had already won two Spanish Cups and one Spanish Supercup with Sevilla, and one Portuguese Cup with Benfica.


"I was very happy that I could play in the last game of the competition, so I could follow the celebrations from the first row."

Capel already played in some competitions: the Spanish, the Portuguese, the Italian,... But what will he remember from the Belgian competition? "In the beginning of the season, I was important and I felt comfortable. The football here goes fast as well."

Capel would like to go back to the Spanish competition. "There were some possibilities in the winter, but nothing became concrete. I have many positive memories from the last years, but I think it is time to go back to Spain. But we'll see, I still have a one year contract in Anderlecht."
