Did Red Bull pay 9 million for Bruno?

Massimo Bruno left Anderlecht and signed a contract with Red Bull that sent him to Salzburg. The goal is to let him play for Leipzig as soon as they promote to the highest German division.


The price Red Bull paid for Bruno has remained a secret until now. Manager Van Holsbeeck said in the press the company paid "an amount that could not be refused". The Belgian press mentioned amounts between three and six million euro, but that hardly seems enough for a player like Bruno.

The German website transfermarkt.de now mentions Red Bull paid nine million. The German site is usually well informed and nine million seems more like a price that could not be refused...
