Official: Bruno heads for Salzburg

It's official: Massimo Bruno is leaving Anderlecht. His choice is surprising though. The winger signed a deal for Red Bull Salzburg and will be playing in the Austrian League.


Whether this is a sportive improvement, is doubtful. What is certain, is that Salzburg had enough financial means thanks to their sponsor Red Bull. It's not unlikely Bruno was offered a good contract. The Austrian club also paid a large transfer sum if we have to believe manager Van Holsbeeck: "They made us an offer we couldn't refuse", he said.

Bruno joined Anderlecht in 2011 when he arrived from Charleroi. Last year, he became one of the most important players of the team. He has a large potential to keep growing and make it to the European top.

Bruno signed in Salzburg for five years and passed the medical tests. There are no details about the financial aspect yet.
