Remarkable news today: in the book 'from Ket to Captain', we can read that Vincent Kompany could become Anderlecht's chairman in the future. Kompany, ex-Anderecht, is currently playing for Manchester City.

Kompany is already engaged in promoting the Belgian football. The player already owns BX Brussels, a football club in the lower divisions. But it's well known that Anderlecht will always have a special place in Kompany's heart.

According to the author of the book, it's certain Kompany will sooner or later return to Anderlecht. This could be as stockholder, director or ... as chairman. The club itself would prefer the latter: "Vincent is of high value for us. He would certainly give a boost to our club. See what happened with Bayern Munich under Franz Beckenbauer", manager Van Holsbeeck replied.

Kompany's manager Jacques Lichtenstein doesn't confirm nor denies: "Vincent has a thousand dreams. It's a bit premature to confirm."
