Herman Van Holsbeeck reacted again to the case-Aruna in the VT4-studio in the programme "Kort op de bal". He defended the player, and accused the environment of the Ivorian.

"Aruna is not the one to blame. He is an intelligent boy, but the people in his environment turn his head. His own manager, Serge Trimpont, brought pressure upon us and now seems to realise Aruna can only leave in January. But several other managers promise him heaven on earth. We are trying to keep our team together for one year. We promised that to our fans. I think it's better to search for a solution on a long term. With Aruna's behaviour now, we can't let him leave. That would be a bad precedent to others."

"The scouts probably judge him wrong as well. Aruna is a terrific player, but he doesn't score easy. Scouts don't see that in one game. He still has to learn a lot in Anderlecht."
Will Aruna play for Anderlecht in the future? "Yes, of course. At least until January."

Also Hugo Broos reacted: "Aruna is no good player for mediocre Premier League teams. If he doesn't move to a topteam, it's better to stay in Anderlecht. But it's a pity there's no such thing as team spirit anymore. It's all about money."
