Anderlecht took a well deserved point in Paris. A well organised team kept PSG from creating chances and even took the lead when De Zeeuw scored. Unfortunately Ibrahimovic managed to equalise minutes later.

Anderlecht started with Praet in the team and played from a well organised defence. Paris Saint Germain tried to finish off the Belgians in the opening minutes but Lavezzi's header went over. Imbrahimovic' hard shot missed the target. When the storm died out, Anderlecht took control over the match and monopolised the ball. Though Sirigu was not threatened besides a few weak efforts of Mitrovic. At half time, the score remained 0-0.

After the break, PSG raised the pace. Anderlecht, defending high in the first half, was forced back. But Kouyaté, Mbemba, Deschacht and Vanden Borre played an excellent game. Ibrahimovic was kept out of the match. Lavezzi was the most dangerous, but his two efforts were blocked by the defence while Lucas missed. Under the mounting pressure, chances for the visitors were scarce but one good counter attack brought the Mauves ahead. Praet found Kljestan between two French defenders. The American brought the ball to De Zeeuw whose shot defeated goalkeeper Sirigu: 0-1.

Unfortunately the concentration in the defence faded for a second and that was enough for PSG to equalise. Imbrahimovic was allowed free passage through the defence. His effort was saved by Kaminski, but the ball returned into play from the post. The Swedish striker scored the rebound that was impossible to miss. From then on, Anderlecht came under huge pressure especially after the second yellow for Kljestan. Counter attacking proved to be impossible, but the 1-1 draw was defended well. PSG did come any further than a few free kicks and corner kicks. The logical result was 1-1.

The upcoming home game against Benfica will be decisive over Anderlecht's future. With one point, a victory can bring the Brussels' team next to the Lisbon club. In that case, the last matchday will decide over the third place.
