Anderlecht scored three against Oostende

Anderlecht beat Oostende yesterday with 0-3. The Mauves played a weak first half and scored right before half time via a header of Mitrovic. In the second half, Anderlecht played slightly better and scored two more.


Coach Van den Brom surprised with De Zeeuw in the starting line-up. Deschacht was, just like against Standard, in the team as well.

The first half was boring. Anderlecht played uninspired and the best chance was for Oostende. Right before half time, Deschacht centered and Mitrovic scored with a header: 0-1.

The second half was better, but it took Anderlecht another 20 minutes to double the lead. Mbemba scored the rebound when a ball came back into play from the post. Minutes later, Kljestan made the third of the evening.

N'Sakala got a red card for a harsh tackle and Anderlecht had to continue for about 15 minutes with 10. The Mauves never came into any trouble though and could even have scored one more. Final result: 0-3.
