Anderlecht got a serious beating yesterday. Bruges won 4-0 against the Belgian champions. Lestienne scored twice, Simons and Fatai made the other goals.

Anderlecht did not show anything during the whole game. There barely were chances despite a few mistakes of the home defence. Bruges on the other hand immediately took command of the game. Anderlecht had problems keeping the ball in the team and lost most duels. Though a very light penalty was needed for Bruges to open the score. Simons scored. The Mauves made it to the break trailing one goal.

But in the second half it even became worse. Lestienne quickly scored and Anderlecht motivation broke. Lestienne and Fatai did the rest... The only positive point in the game, was the good performance of Tielemans who had replaced Mitrovic.
