Vanden Stock wants to avoid top teams

Roger Vanden Stock doesn't feel very comfortable about the draw. Anderlecht will the weakest team in its group according to the statistics. And will probably start with the youngest, least experienced team.

That's why Vanden Stock wants to avoid the top teams. "I hope to avoid Real Madrid and Barcelona", tells the president of the club to the newspaper L'Avenir.

But he hopes to draw Arsenal, to be able to play in the mighty Emirates Stadium. He also hopes to end on the third place, so Anderlecht could still play European matches after the winter break. But he is being realistic: "We have less ambition compared to last year, because we have a new team. But we will play to win the match."
