There was a lot of speculation in the spring: Will Milan Jovanovic stay in Anderlecht or not? Herman van Holsbeeck told Jovanovic could stay if Anderlecht would win the title. Milan Jovanovic decided to leave eventually. "Herman acted surprised", tells Jovanovic.

He couldn't stay in Anderlecht anymore in his opinion. He and Dieumerci Mbokani were hired two years ago, to win the title with Anderlecht. They won the title twice. It's impossible to do any better. He didn't like the fact that Mbokani and Biglia would leave Anderlecht aswell, because everyone would be looking at him only. "The pressure on me would be too big to handle", tells the Serbian player.

"But I don't regret anything", says he. He was too proud to accept the offer of Anderlecht to practise with the club as long as he didn't have a team. Anderlecht also offered him to come back if he didn't find a club before August 31. But he doesn't want to do that. Jovanovic hopes to play for a top team in a smaller league or a top five club in a top league.
