Reactions after the draw: "Hard!"

Hugo Broos, Franky Vercauteren and Olivier Deschacht reacted unhappy after the draw. They all agreed that it will be a very difficult to reach the 2nd round.
Anderlecht-coach Hugo Broos faces a heavy task.

He has to overcome Valencia, Inter Milan and Werder Bremen. "Whether I'm happy? Certainly not", said the trainer.

"I really wanted to avoid Bremen. It's the worst opponent from the 4th pot. And German teams are always difficult. It's a very annoying team", reacted Hugo Broos.

"Valencia is ok, compared to the other big clubs from that pot. And Inter? A hard Italian team. It will be hard."

Also assistent-coach Franky Vercauteren realises the difficulty of the task they face: "I will be hard."

"Maybe we can overcome Inter. It's a team with lots of stars, but they never obtain the wanted results. Let us hope it stays that way. Werder Bremen will be the most difficult opponent to beat", says Franky Vercauteren.

"Valencia? A strong collective team. Always hard to play against."
