Acheampong hopes for selection of national team

Frank Acheampong hopes to be selected by the national team of Ghana for the WC-qualifying match against Zambia. "I'm ready to join the national team. I never had so much confidence before", tells Acheampong to Ghanasoccernet.


"My performances speak for themselves. I want to show my value on the pitch and not reading about it in the newspapers", tells Acheampong pretty confident.

"I showed my capability during the World Champions for teams U20 in Turkey, so now I patiently wait to be selected by the real national team for the first time."

The Ghanese player already scored two goals this season. He made his first goal when he got substituted against AA Ghent. Because of that goal, he could start the match against Waasland-Beveren where he scored his second goal of the season.
