Yesterday, Aleksandar Mitrovic played with his former club Partizan Belgrade a qualifying match against the Swiss team FC Thun. It wasn't easy for Mitrovic because he was surrounded by three defenders all the time.

Het Nieuwsblad analyzed the performances of the striker and thinks there is still a lot of work to do. The newspaper made an overview of his strenghts and weaknesses.

Technique: Mitrovic reminds Het Nieuwsblad of an unfinished version of Romelu Lukaku. The Serbian player won't put aside a defender with a feint easily. But he possesses an amazing physical power for a 18-year-old.

He combines explosiveness with his scoring skill. He waits for "the" perfect long pass of his fellow team mate on the edge of being offside or to take advantage of a mistake of the defenders with an explosive sprint.

But because he has a well developed scoring skill, he doesn't really possess the necessary skills to defend. He could get away with weakness against FC Thun, but he has to defend more in the Belgian league.

Being hot-tempered is another problem. He made some bad gestures towards his team mates during the game against FC Thun. Also, he had to keep calm in order not to kick a Swiss opponent.

Het Nieuwsblad considers Mitrovic as a big talent, but he still has to learn a lot.

By the way, he has another haircut again. You can watch it in the link below.
