Kljestan: "We lack experience on the midfield"

A lot of people are talking about the midfield of Anderlecht. Not only Massimo Bruno, also Sasha Kljestan has an opinion about it. He told Het Laatste Nieuws that he prefers to play with a fixed midfield.


The American player wants to play with the same players as much as possible. Out of 80 matches he played the last two seasons, he played 74 matches together with Lucas Biglia. They formed a fixed triangle with Dennis Praet.

It's totally different this season. In the first match he played together with Demi De Zeeuw, then with Youri Tielemans and in the third match together with Luka Milivojevic and then with De Zeeuw back again.

"We just lack experience", says Kljestan. "They're all kids who need some time to learn."

Kljestan is looking forward to the arrival of Mitrovic at the end of August. He thinks Mitrovic is the missing link.
