Cheikhou Kouyaté declares to La Dernière Heure that there is still a chance he leaves Anderlecht this summer. According to the newspaper, Southampton and especially Newcastle are interested in the player.

"Yes, there it's still possible I leave Anderlecht, because some English clubs are interested", says the player. But he still focuses on Anderlecht.

Normally he receives his Belgian passport this week. Now he only has a document which shows he's Belgian. "But it's possible I have to wait for another two weeks for my passport. I hope to get it before the transfer deadline.

Kouyaté still thinks the board should offer Marcin Wasilewski a new contract. "He has some experience which our young team is lacking sometimes."

He's also clear about the midfield, which still is a weak link in the team according to him, even when the club reinforced the team with Luka Milivojevic. "People should give him some time, because we play a system that isn't ideal for him. He still hsa to integrate into the team and we should help him with this", ends the player.
