Anderlecht has strengthened its left-back position by hiring Fabrice N'Sakala. The French player is ready for a new start with Purple-White. In fact, Anderlecht was the only club interested in the player.

"It's gone quick since Sunday", tells the player to the French newspaper L'Est Eclair. "There were some conversations going on, but nothing serious. I went to watch Anderlecht's facilities on Monday and I was impressed. It looks like a perfect match if I look at the history of the club. I'll play for the title each season now."

Clubs liks Lille OSC, Olympique Marseille and Torino were interested aswell. "There was a small approach of Lille OSC, but nothing more. Concerning Olympique Marseille, it was only José Anigo who declared he was interested in my profile. I never had personal contact with Torino."

"Anderlecht surprised me. They don't have to back down for French clubs. The teams seems to be very professional and coach John van den Brom very ambitious", tells the defender.

But the player has to wait until the end of the transfer deadline before he can join the team. Until then, he can practise with the team U21. N'Sakala actually didn't know he will play Champions League with Anderlecht. "The coach told me this. But that's not why I chose Anderlecht to play for. I don't consider this transfer as a step to a possible transfer to England or somewhere else."
