Canesin Matos linked to Charleroi

According to La Dernière Heure, Charleroi is interested in Canesin Matin again. He extended his contract to 2016 in August 2011, but didn't play yet.


Anderlecht refused an offer from Genclerbirligi in January 2013. The club wanted to rent Canesin, but the board of Anderlecht only wanted to sell the player for 1.75 million euro. Afterwards he had been linked to a South Korean club. Anderlecht was pretty lauditive when they extended the contract of the Brazilian midfielder. "He sets an example for the younger players, because of his mentality", said van Holsbeeck in 2011.
