Verschueren continues with Anderlecht

He's already 82-year-old, but he doesn't know the word "retirement". He represents Anderlecht in the European Club Association for almost five years now.


Verschueren also is the third vice-presisent of this association, but his mandate ends in September. He tells De Zondag he wants to quit this activity, but not his others. He still remains the Managing Director of Saint-Guidon, the catering department of RSC Anderlecht. "I want to say goodbye to my European mandates in a nice way", says Michel Verschueren who had been the manager of Anderlecht for almost 25 years. "I've travelled to Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Malaga, London, Milan, Munich, Switzerland and Qatar in six months. It's taking its toll on me."
