Armenteros can go to Feyenoord

The Dutch news paper "De Telegraaf" published this morning that Feyenoord is very interested in Armenteros. Armenterps got transferred from Heracles to Anderlecht in January 2013, but his performances never broke through so far.


Now Feyenoord wants to make a big effort to reinforce their attacking department with Samuel Armenteros. According to the news paper, the the staff and board of Feyenoord think Armenteros could add some quality to the attacking line, where Graziano Pellè has to do all the work by himself now.

The player would be lend to Feyenoord for one season first, with an option to buy. The wage wouldn't cause a problem according to the news paper.

Armenteros made his official debut on January 26 2013. He entered the pitch in the 92nd minute, to substitute Dennis Praet. In July, he was telling in an article that he wanted to succeed in Anderlecht. It would be easier to do after Mbokani left Anderlecht, but it seems he won't get the chance if this transfer will be done.
