Yesterday, the UEFA announced the distribution of the incomes of the Champions League for upcoming season. Anderlecht already earned 8.6 million euro without playing one single minute.

Depending on the results, Anderlecht could earn a lot more. A victory means an income of 1 million euro, a draw still means an income of 500,000 euro.

If Anderlecht succeeds to qualify for the second round of the Champions League, the bank account will increase with 3.5 million euro.

Besides all these incomes, they will also earn some money from selling tickets, TV broadcasts and possible sponsor contracts. The only advantage of the elimination of Zulte-Waregem is the fact that Anderlecht doesn't need to share the incomes from TV broadcasts for Belgium anymore. So this means Anderlecht will earn even more now.
