"Mbemba best defender in Belgium"

Because Cheikhou Kouyaté got suspended for two games, Chancel Mbemba had to take his place in the defense. Mbemba played two really good matches, also football analist Wim De Coninck noticed it.


Every week De Coninck writes a column in Sport/Voetbalmagazine about the Belgian football league. He praised the young talent Chancel Mbemba. "I think Mbemba is already better than Kouyaté and Nuytinck", says De Coninck. "He's excellent at controlling the ball and passing the ball forward. He also made some good interventions in the defense.

Does Mbemba have to be replaced by Kouyaté? De Coninck thinks Anderlecht has a problem, because the coach can't put Kouyaté on the bench except for when he starts to make juvenile mistakes. "Anderlecht probably knew this, because they have been very silent at the transfer market."
