Kouyaté officially Belgian since August 1

Cheikhou Kouyaté is officially a Belgian citizen since his naturalization has been published on the 1st of August 2013 in "Het Staatsblad", the Belgian statute book.


"Kouyaté Cheikhou, born in Dakar (Senegal) on December 21 1989" is mentioned on the long list of new Belgian citizens. Nothing blocks a transfer to England now he obtained the Belgian citizenship.

Anderlecht allows Kouyaté to leave, but a possible interested club has to pay more than 7 million euros. The extension of his contract contains a new contract of five years.
