Assaidi: no agreement yet

There is no agreement between both clubs yet, however there were some articles on several websites telling about a possible agreement between Anderlecht and Liverpool regarding the transfer of Assaidi.


There appeared many articles on the internet lately, which claimed that both clubs agreed to transfer Assaidi. Anderlecht would pay 1.5 million immediately, the other 1.5 million in June 2014. But according to "La Dernière Heure", none of this is true.

Everything is based on a English tweet of someone called "@stevebuckleylfc" who doesn't even want to reveal his identity. Afterwards, this story has gone viral. He posted a tweet on August 4: "Oussama Assaidi is also close to a possible move to Anderlecht. It seems Anderlecht will pay €1.5 this summer and a further €1.5m next June."
