Sevilla wanted Suarez

FC Sevilla tried to land Matias Suarez. The player's manager confirms: "We had a good contact with Sevilla. They were very interested in Suarez."


The manager also tries to pressure Anderlecht and lower the transfer fee: "Matias is not the player he used to be. He was out for a long time." But Anderlecht is convinced the Argentine will extend his current deal with two years (until 2017). The club only wants to cooperate on a transfer after the Champions League.
