Benfica will defend

Benfica lost Friday evening with 1-0 in the Portugesian Supercup against Porto. The goal was scored in the 55th minute, by Quaresma.

The team against Porto was changed on two positions in comparison with the match against Anderlecht two weeks ago: goalkeeper Quim replaced Yannick and Luisão, who is back after an injury, replaced Ricardo Rocha. But probably will Quim be replaced again by Yannick, Argel will be replaced by Ricardo Rocha and Brasilian starplayer Geovanni will replace João Perreira. Nuno Gomez, striker of the Portugesian national team, won't come to Brussels. He still suffers from a knee injury.

"Benfica played very defensive against Porto, and I expect that they will play the same way against us", said Hugo Broos. "The Italian coach Trappatoni knows how to set up an organisation. So it will be a tough match."

The team against Porto: Quim, Miguel, Luisão, Argel, Dos Santos; Petit, Paulo Almeida (65' Bruno Aguiar); João Pereira (84' Everson), Zahovic (59' Karadas), Simão, Sokota.
Will also come to Brussels: Yannick, Amoreirinha, Ricardo Rocha, Fyssas, Manuel Fernandes (18-year old player who extended his contract until 2010 this weekend), Geovanni and Carlitos.
