Kouyaté might even stay until January

Cheikhou Kouyaté would like to wait for his Belgian passport which would facilitate a transfer to England. The defender already indicated that Eastern Europe and Russia are not an option for him.


In an interview he said he would even like to stay until January. By then, he should have his passport and he should be able to get a transfer to the Premier League: "Anderlecht is a top club and we will play Champions League next year. I wouldn't mind staying here until I can go to England", he said.

Meanwhile, Arsenal denied that they are following Kouyaté. "The club is following other defenders", it sounded. Kouyaté might also be interested in a transfer to France.
