Preview Rostov - Anderlecht

GAMES Within less than half an hour, Anderlecht will start their European campaign in the Champions League qualification round. The opponent will be the Russian club Rostov. Stefano Okaka did not travel with the team to Russia. He has been sent to the B-team.

According to some sources he had a dispute with trainer Weiler, but manager Van Holsbeeck put things in perspective: "Stefano returned from his holidays and had a few kilograms of excess weight. Our coach wants everyone as sharp as possible and made a few remarks about it. Stefano did not appreciate these comments, but he is professional enough to realise he has to work individually to get in optimal condition. He will have to train separate from the group and was not added to the selection for tonight's match."

Further, coach Weiler also made up his mind about who'll be captain. Tielemans, Defour and De Maio were all tested for their leader capacities during the friendly games, but the coach decided Defour will be the new captain, at least for now.
