De Zeeuw priority to replace Biglia

Steven Defour won't replace Biglia. His current club, FC Porto, refused to cooperate on a transfer. Therefore, Demy de Zeeuw becomes a priority. The Dutch international is currently playing for Spartak Moscow.


De Zeeuw left Ajax for Spartak in 2011. The Russians paid six million euros for the 29 year old midfielder. Though De Zeeuw never managed to claim his place in the starting line-up. In one year and a half time, he participated in 22 games. Thus the Dutchman is unhappy and would like to leave. Also his club is prepared to cooperate on a transfer.

As an alternative, also Wout Brama is being followed. Manager Van Holsbeeck was already in Enschede to see the player at work with his club FC Twente.
