GAMES - OTHER The Belgian Red Devils played their best match of the European Championship and knocked Hungary, with ex-Anderlecht player Juhasz, out of the tournament. The Belgians scored four goals, a record on Euro 2016 up until now.

The Red Devils started well and took control immediately. Alderweireld converted the Belgian offensive power into a goal within the first ten minutes. The Belgian national team kept looking for a second goal, but a good Kiraly kept them from scoring with a few world class saves: De Bruyne's free kick was pushed over the crossbar and Mertens, broken through, was stopped as well. At half time the scoreline was just 0-1: frustrating for Belgium.

At the start of the second half, Hungary tried to turn the tide, but Courtois never really came into trouble. It didn't take long before Belgium took control again. Especially Hazard played a fantastic match. First he gave allowed Batshuayi, who had replaced Lukaku, to score the 2-0. Then he scored the 3-0 himself with a great shot. Carrasco did the rest and made the 4-0.

Wales awaits now in the quarter finals. The biggest problem for the Belgians is the second yellow card of Thomas Vermaelen, who'll be suspended. On Friday we'll know how his replacement will perform.
