INTERVIEWS It looked like Anderlecht finally found their new head coach, there has even been an official announcement from the Anderlecht board. However, it looks like the negotiation with FC Nürnberg are not running as smoothly as expected.

René Weiler still has a one-year contract at Anderlecht and the German team are asking an indemnity fee of 700,000 Euros for their coach. Rumours have it that this fee would even be higher. However, Anderlecht are not planning to pay such a high fee and Nürnberg director Andreas Bornemann stated that is useless to keep discussing with Anderlecht at the moment.

German idea are surprised that a team like Anderlecht are not willing to pay a fee for such an important staff member as a head coach. As Anderlecht has already announced the arrival of René Weiler, it looks like they are planning to play it hard.
