Standard will have to play one game without fans in their stadium. That is the, in our opinion mild, punishment the club gets for the misbehaviour of their fans in the match vs. Anderlecht.

Standard hooligans transformed the pitch into a minefield when Anderlecht scored the 0-1 in Liège. This completely changed the course of the game, resulting in a defeat for the Mauves. Standard will now have to play, on November 4 against OHL, in an empty stadium. That is the punishment the club gets. Standard will go into higher appeal.

Also Bruges received a punishment. They will have to miss Jonathan Blondel in the match against Anderlecht. The kicked Genk player Thomas Buffel in the face and gets a 4 matchday ban.
